Orchestral Conducting Bachelor 2012 in Ljubljana at the Academy of Music and Master 2018 (Mag. art.) in Vienna at the University for Music and performing Arts (mdw).
Founder, artistic director and conductor of the Slovenian Chamber Orchestra (2017-2022), uniting established professionals - notably Slovenian members of the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony - with Slovenian students, promoting Slovenian composers.
Guest conductor with the Slovenian Philharmonic, Radio Orchestra Ljubljana, Maribor Opera Orchestra, Slowind Ensemble and various Viennese semi-professional orchestras (Orchester der TU Wien, Mödlinger Symphonisches Orchester, sinfonia academica).
Since 2023 full-time at the Wiener Staatsoper as maestra suggeritrice. Assistant conductor to Alexander Soddy for the Austrian first performance of the opera Animal Farm by Alexander Raskatov in February 2024.

Ihnen folgt herrischen Schrittes eine strenggescheitelte Dame im Frack, Applaus brandet auf im Haus der Berliner Festspiele, ist sie doch die Dirigentin. Es ist Jera H. Petriček. Nach pausenlosen zwei Stunden weiß man, dass sie allen Applaus wert ist. Wie eine Zirkusdompteurin hat sie dieses unter Masken spielende, sprechende, pantomimisierende, rhythmisch atmende und tanzende Ensemble des Wiener Volkstheaters auf Trab und auch im Takt gehalten.”

Voice & choir
Choir and chorus singer since age 7, Petriček has stood on the stage of Salzburger Festspiele (with the Konzertvereinigung Staatsopernchor Wien) two summers in a row, singing operas and concerts under the batons of Riccardo Muti and Mariss Jansons among others. Other opera performances include Theater an der Wien and styriarte Festival with the Arnold-Schoenberg-Chor, where Petriček sung choir solo parts as well as led rehearsals as guest choir conductor.
Winner of the 3rd Prize at Petyrek Lang Song Competition (20th century song) in 2015. Premiering new song During Wind and Rain by the Slovenian composer Timotej Kosovinc at mdw (2018).
Musicologist
